White Tiger (Big Cat Series)

The final piece of my big cat series. This was actually the most straightforward of the three pieces, even though it required the most detail. I chose this pose for the tiger to show off the legs as much as possible so I could make the stripes visible on the whole body. The hardest part was the lines on the back; trying to create depth and shape rather than just a flat back. Even though I’ve painted many tigers before, I’ve never done a full-body version. I might need to revisit this composition, but with an orange tiger.
