We've been asked hundreds of times if we sell our soil mix — and now the answer is yes! This is our own best custom blend, refined over 5 years growing thousands of plants. We refer to it as our "table mix" as it's what we use for smaller, younger plants (4-inch, 6-inch, 1 gallon, 3 gallon). The ingredients are: 35% Canadian Sphagnum Peat Moss 40% Pine Bark Fines 10% Sawdust 10% Coarse Sand 5% Perlite Mycorrhizae Harmony 5-4-3 Organic Fertilizer w/ 9% Ca AZOMITE Organic Trace Minerals 270-day controlled release balanced fertilizer (15-6-12) The Mycorrhizae inoculant is hugely beneficial for young plants' roots — Mycorrhizal fungi form a symbiotic relationship with the roots of plants, effectively doubling their ability to uptake water and minerals, and improving resiliency and adaptability to outdoor conditions. Harmony 5-4-3 and AZOMITE are our go-to organic fertility sources, ensuring that soil and plants are healthy and biologically rich. Our 270-day slow-release fertilizer rounds it off, ensuring strong green growth over the long haul, without excessive nitrogen dump— just a smooth and steady stream of NPK for the entire season. The primary ingredients of sphagnum peat and pine fines ensure that our blend is perfectly balanced. It retains moisture so plants don't dry out too fast, but is also well draining—crucial for South Florida's rainy climate and sensitive tropical tree roots. Perfectly pH balanced, our premium mix is ideal for all veggies, fruit trees, ornamentals, and even for houseplants! 1 cubic foot bags, roughly 20 lbs each.
