Guitar Hero: Van Halen | Xbox 360

Take the stage with Van HalenGuitar Hero: Van Halen puts the band's music at the center of a rhythm game built around playing along with on-screen note tracks. Match the timing, hold a streak and work through increasingly demanding performances as the familiar stage show unfolds around your band. The selection combines Van Halen recordings with songs from other artists, giving solo players and groups a range of material to tackle.Choose guitar, bass, drums or vocals with the appropriate compatible controller. Each part asks for a different kind of timing, from following a vocal line to maintaining a rhythm section or handling a busy guitar passage. Difficulty settings let players build confidence before attempting more demanding arrangements, while the performance format makes individual songs easy to return to for another attempt at a stronger score.Local play supports up to four participants with the necessary instruments, making this a useful addition to an existing Xbox 360 music-game setup. It also works as a focused single-player challenge for anyone who wants to spend time learning one part. Check controller compatibility before buying, especially when combining instruments from different games or systems.Software and controller requirementsThis listing is for the North American Xbox 360 game disc published by Activision, with development by Underground Development.
