Keep your eyes open! Dolphins, seabirds, and other marine wildlife are frequently spotted along the way. The boat ride is an adventure of its own! 🥾 Coastal Hiking Adventure | Approximately 5 Miles Discover the rugged beauty of Santa Cruz Island as we explore scenic trails overlooking the Pacific Ocean. Expect sweeping coastal views, dramatic cliffs, unique island landscapes, and plenty of opportunities to stop for photos. We'll hike together as a group at a comfortable, steady pace while enjoying everything this incredible island has to offer. 🛶 Guided Sea Cave Kayaking Get ready for one of the most exciting parts of our adventure! With experienced kayaking guides, we'll paddle along the island's coastline, explore kelp forests, and venture into spectacular sea caves when ocean conditions allow. Never kayaked before? No problem! Beginners are welcome, and guides will provide instruction and safety equipment before heading onto the water. Participants should be comfortable walking on uneven trails, spending several hours outdoors, and participating in physical activities throughout the day. Kayaking Experience: No previous kayaking experience is required. Beginners are welcome! Swimming: Participants must know how to swim and feel comfortable being on the ocean while wearing a personal flotation device. Ocean Conditions: Sea kayaking takes place in an open-ocean environment. Waves, wind, and water conditions can change, and the kayaking route or access to sea caves may be adjusted for safety. Age Requirement: This is a women-only experience for ages 21 and older. We encourage everyone to challenge themselves while respecting their own abilities and comfort levels. 📍 MEETING LOCATION & SCHEDULE Departure Location: Ventura Harbor, California Date: Saturday, June 5, 2027 Time: Approximately 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM Participants are responsible for arranging their own transportation to Ventura Harbor. Exact meeting instructions, parking information, check-in details, and the final schedule will be shared with registered participants before the trip. Please plan to arrive early. Boat departures operate on strict schedules, and late arrivals may miss the departure. 💬 FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS Can I join by myself? Absolutely! Many of our Baddies attend their first adventure solo. This is a great opportunity to meet new friends and connect with women who love exploring. Do I need previous kayaking experience? No! Beginners are welcome. Experienced guides will provide instruction, equipment, and guidance throughout the kayaking experience. How difficult is the hike? The approximately 5-mile hike is considered moderate. Expect some uneven terrain and elevation changes. Participants should be comfortable hiking for several hours. Do I need to know how to swim? Yes. For safety, all participants must know how to swim and be comfortable participating in water activities. Will we definitely see dolphins or island foxes? Wildlife sightings are common but never guaranteed. Every island adventure offers something different! What happens if the weather or ocean conditions change? Safety comes first! Boat transportation, kayaking, and sea cave access depend on weather and ocean conditions. Activities and schedules may be adjusted when necessary. Is food provided? No. Please bring your own packed lunch, snacks, and plenty of drinking water. Food is not available for purchase on the island. Can I bring a friend? Of course! You're welcome to book with a friend or join solo.
