Flight Numbers & Performance Boasting official flight numbers of Speed: 8, Glide: 4, Turn: -1, and Fade: 1, the TL3 is engineered for maximum control. The flatter top profile (the "3" designation) reduces glide slightly to keep the disc from sailing past your target. Speed Glide Turn Fade 8 4 -1 1 How the Proto Glow TL3 handles off the tee: Night Golf Precision: It delivers a true "point-and-shoot" flight, making it a mandatory tool for hitting narrow tunnel shots even when visibility is low. Hyzer-Flip Machine: The combination of a subtle -1 turn and an extremely mild 1 fade means this disc will hold exactly the line you put it on, flipping to flat easily for players with moderate arm speeds. Torque-Resistant Versatility: The flat top handles both backhand and forehand releases equally well, providing a comfortable grip for sidearm throwers. The Proto Glow Plastic Advantage Innova’s Proto Glow plastic is a massive upgrade over their older glow formulas. It is engineered to glow significantly brighter and hold its charge much longer, ensuring you can easily track your disc from the tee pad all the way to the basket in complete darkness. Structurally, it offers the elite durability and premium grip of Champion plastic, ensuring your TL3 retains its neutral, laser-straight flight characteristics through countless night rounds and heavy tree kicks. The "TL" stands for "Teebird-Less overstable," meaning it has a similar core design to the iconic Teebird but flies much straighter with far less fade. The "3" indicates that this mold has been retooled with a flatter top, which slightly increases the speed while slightly lowering the glide for better placement control. Is the Proto Glow TL3 a good disc for beginners? Absolutely! Because it is an 8-speed driver with a very neutral flight path (-1 turn, 1 fade), it is an excellent choice for beginners who are ready to step up from midranges. The high-visibility glow plastic is an added bonus for playing at dusk.
