Throughout the harvest, many skilled smallholder producers deliver remarkable coffees in quantities too limited to export individually. The Coffee Quest carefully selects these tiny lots according to cup quality and profile, bringing them together to create Las Perlitas. This edition comes from La Plata in western Huila and showcases the celebrated Geisha variety. Grown in the region’s cool mountain climate and processed using the washed method, the coffee offers the clarity, elegance, and aromatic character for which Geisha is prized. Las Perlitas also celebrates the producers behind these small lots. Instead of overlooking coffees because of their limited volume, the program gives exceptional harvests the opportunity to reach the specialty market.
