Artificial Brown Paniculata Hydrangea

This paniculata hydrangea has been hand painted to look like it's been drying in the garden since late summer — plum deepening to burgundy at the petal edges, amber and copper warming through the centre, green buds still holding on between the florets.The cone-shaped heads are generous at 12cm wide, and the leaves stay dark green and fresh-looking, so the overall effect is autumn colour with life still in it. At 84cm it suits a tall, straight-sided vase where the heads can fan out and show the colour range across the group.
