Dräger Methyl Bromide 0.1/a Detector Tubes are colorimetric tubes for determining whether methyl bromide is present in air at the sampling point over the time the sample is drawn. Each box contains 10 single-use measurement units for use with a compatible Dräger tube pump. Each result is a selective spot measurement. Select the measurement method and sampling procedure according to the current fumigant label, applicator manual, Fumigation Management Plan, site requirements, and the instructions supplied with the tube and pump. A tube reading is not a determination of clearance, re-entry authorization, worker safety, or regulatory compliance. Measurement Ranges Dräger Methyl Bromide 0.1/a (order no. 3706301) 0.1 to 5 ppm at 10 strokes, with a measuring time of approximately 5 minutes; or 5 to 50 ppm at 2 strokes, with a measuring time of approximately 1 minute. These are two separate measurement methods. Color change: light to green. Permissible ambient conditions (Dräger): 2 to 40 °C, humidity no more than 40 mg H₂O/L. Standard deviation: ±15 to 20%. Perchloroethylene or trichloroethylene prevents a methyl bromide measurement. Other substances can affect the indication.
