It is handmade to order in our Halifax workshop and cut to the width of your wall, so it fits a hallway, an entryway, a landing or the space behind a sofa. A console with drawers gives you somewhere to put things away, not just set them down. Keys, post, chargers and dog leads go in the drawer, which leaves the top clear for a lamp, a bowl or a stack of books. Widths up to 90cm have one drawer, and from 100cm the frame holds two side by side. Each drawer runs on metal runners for a smooth, steady pull. It is built from solid oak, so it is hard wearing and can be sanded and refinished over the years rather than replaced. Every piece carries its own grain and character, and the turned legs give it the look of a traditional farmhouse hall table. Choose your width in 10cm steps from 50cm to 160cm, then pick a depth. At 30cm deep it suits a narrow hallway and keeps the walkway clear. At 45cm or 60cm there is more room on top, which works well behind a sofa or on a wide landing. If the size you need is not listed, ask us for a bespoke console made to your measurements. Pick from seven hand applied oak finishes to match your floor or other furniture: Natural, Whitewash, Honey, Light Roast, Heritage, Walnut or Dark Roast. Then choose your handle. It is shown with a Knurled Bar Handle in Matt Black, and you can swap it for any handle in our range, fitted free. Handmade in Yorkshire, it arrives with the legs already attached, ready to stand in place, with free delivery and a lifetime structural guarantee. Each console is made to order and sent out within 3 to 5 weeks. Part of our oak console tables collection.
