Bill Lewis Hammer-Trap Lipless Crankbaits

The Bill Lewis Hammer-Trap Lipless Crankbait brings a new level of action, sound, and vibration to the legendary Bill Lewis lipless crankbait lineup. Built on more than 50 years of lure-making experience, the Hammer-Trap combines a modern profile with a distinctive hammering action designed to trigger aggressive reaction strikes from bass. During the retrieve, the Hammer-Trap produces a pronounced rocking action that anglers can feel through the rod tip. That movement works together with Tri-Tone sound chambers, which generate three distinct sound frequencies to create a unique underwater presence and help draw attention from nearby fish. The action doesn't stop when you stop reeling. On the pause, the Hammer-Trap produces an enticing fluttering fall, giving anglers another opportunity to trigger bass that are following the bait. Rip it through grass, burn it across flats, yo-yo it through deeper water, or mix pauses into a steady retrieve to take advantage of its versatile action. Equipped with Mustad Triple Grip hooks, the Hammer-Trap provides dependable hooking performance when fish strike. At 3 inches long and 5/8 ounce, it offers an excellent combination of casting distance, profile, and weight for covering water efficiently. Available in 16 colors, the Bill Lewis Hammer-Trap gives anglers plenty of options for matching forage and adapting to changing water and light conditions.
