The Joy Of Christ

From Emu's EP 'Just As He Said'! Verse 1: Oh the joy of trusting in my Jesus, He is life and light to me He bore my sin, and took my brokenness In love, he ransomed me Verse 2: Oh, the peace of resting in my Saviour In his care I'm held secure And by my side, he walks the weary road In grace, he carries me Chorus: Though riches fade, and kingdoms fall This treasure stands above them all To know my Lord, to him I cling The joy of Christ, my Saviour King Verse 3: Oh the hope of waiting for my Jesus For the glory still to come And on that day, when every knee will bow I'll sing his endless praise Bridge: The storm he stilled with just a word, the lame he healed, and the blind restored The cross he bore at Calvary, his blood has sealed my eternity The stone was rolled, he rose to life, the grave he crushed, bursting into light And now he reigns, forevermore, the Lord enthroned, we will bow in awe CCLI Song # 7287276| © 2025 Alanna Glover, Philip Percival, Joel Smith, James McDonald| emumusic.com Scripture References Further Options: Listen on Spotify Listen on Apple Music
