Cast Bronze Sidelight Bookends

These early-mid 20th century lamps are from Wilcox & Crittenden of Fairfield, CT and have been fashioned into a unique set of bookends. Originally designed for vessel navigation, these substantial fittings evoke the classic era of wooden motor yachts, and Chris-Craft style pleasure boats. Each is cast in heavy bronze with Fresnel lenses and hinged doors which open to reveal the original electric sockets and the cast “WC” logo. Each (removable) light is displayed in a vintage mahogany mounting with rope edging. One of a kind. Very rare and unusual. Full display 8” L x 6” W x 6” H; Standalone lights 5-1/4” H x 4" W × 4" D
