Stokes 622 Mechanical Booster The Stokes 622 Mechanical Booster is a high-capacity positive-displacement vacuum booster designed to work in conjunction with a backing pump to dramatically increase pumping speed and improve evacuation performance. Its rugged six-inch-class design uses dynamically balanced rotary lobes and is intended for demanding industrial vacuum applications. The 622 is available in horizontal-flow and vertical-flow configurations, with mechanical-seal and process-isolation versions. It can operate at speeds up to 3,600 RPM and is available with approximately 25 HP of drive power.
