BENCH SKETCH HOODIE

Every Kraken piece starts the same way. Not in software. On the bench, with a pen, on whatever's nearest - the back of a Promenade proof, a yardage book, the shop notebook with copper shavings in the spine. Most of those drawings get milled into steel and the paper goes in the bin. This one didn't get cleaned up. It got printed exactly as it was drawn. The back is the sketch: a Kraken in one take, hand-lettered KRAK above it, banded tentacles, the linework a little crooked where the pen moved faster than the plan. No vector pass, no smoothing, no second draft. It's the drawing that would normally be the first step toward a golf ball marker, left as the finished thing instead. The front is quiet. The Kraken mark, stitched in gold thread at the left chest, small enough that only the people who know, know. Woven KRAKEN tag at the right hem. That's the whole front. Midweight fleece in navy, classic fit, built for the drive to the course in October and the bar after. Soft enough to live in, heavy enough to hold its shape when it's been washed a hundred times. Most golf hoodies were designed by a committee.
