With the push/pull tone and classic 3-way toggle, you’ve got versatility without complexity. Blizzard — Bridge Ceramic Humbucker • Tight lows • Fast attack A bridge voice tuned for precision under gain — palm-mutes hit with authority, low strings stay controlled, and riffs remain defined when the mix gets dense. Tight low end: stays focused in lower tunings and multiscale setups. Fast response: immediate pick attack for percussive rhythm. Cut without fizz: clear top end that doesn’t get harsh. Mix-forward: keeps riffs present and articulate. Best for Modern metal, tight rock rhythm, drop tunings, aggressive riffing, and punchy leads. What you’ll hear Controlled lows, aggressive attack, and clear note separation even with high gain. Concordia — Neck Smooth highs • Clear mids • Musical cleans A neck voice that stays clear and expressive — perfect for melodic leads, clean passages, and warm rhythm textures without getting muddy. Singing lead tone: vocal mids and smooth highs. Clean definition: chord clarity and note separation. Great contrast: complements the bridge’s aggression with sweetness. Usable blends: plays well with bridge for in-between tones (when split/rolled back). Best for Smooth leads, clean passages, prog textures, and melodic neck work that stays defined. What you’ll hear Sweet, open neck tone with musical mids and a smooth top end—clear without sounding thin. Why this pairing works: the Blizzard delivers fast, tight aggression for rhythm, while the Concordia keeps the neck voice smooth and musical - a true “metal set” that still has nuance. ⚡ Modern Edge. Classic Ormsby Precision. The Metal V GTR blends aggressive design with unmatched playability - crafted for players who demand performance and style.
