You get a stronger bridge sound for heavier playing and a warmer neck sound for leads and cleans. Hot Rock / Bridge Humbucker / AlNiCo 8 / 13.4k The Hot Rock has plenty of output without losing definition. It keeps the low end controlled and gives riffs and leads enough midrange to stay present. Best for Rock, hard rock, punk, metal, rhythm playing and leads. What you'll hear Tight lows, strong mids and a clear attack. De La Creme / Neck Humbucker / AlNiCo 2 / 8.0k The De La Creme has a warmer, more vintage-style neck sound. It stays clear for chords and clean playing, while keeping lead tones smooth. Best for Clean playing, melodic leads, warm solos and rhythm work. What you'll hear Warm lows, open mids and smooth highs. Why it works: the Hot Rock gives you the punch in the bridge, while the De La Creme gives you a warmer neck sound.
