L.L Bean - 80s Cotton Knit Pullover

Iconic American heritage brand L.L.Bean was founded in 1912 by Leon Leonwood Bean in Freeport, Maine. An avid hunter and fisherman, he was inspired to create the "Maine Hunting Shoe" after returning from a hunting trip with soaked and sore feet. The original design of the "Bean Boot" combined a leather upper with a rubber bottom, addressing the problem of wet feet in the outdoors. Produced in the 1980s, this exceptional knit is crafted from a pure cotton yarn in a fisherman's rib knit. It has a loft hand feel while still offering the comfort and year-round wearability of cotton knits. It has a relaxed fit with a chunky neckline and a rib knit finish on the cuffs and hem.
