Released just seven months after "Overkill," the album kept up the band's punishing pace with tracks like "Dead Men Tell No Tales," reportedly written as an anti-heroin song during Miller's own struggles in the studio, and "Stone Dead Forever," a longtime fan favorite. The album's cover art, featuring a chrome-detailed Heinkel bomber, became so iconic that Motörhead built a 40-foot replica lighting rig for their supporting tour.
