When crafting an Oktoberfest Lager there are a few mission critical qualities that need to be attended to. It should be clean, it should be crisp, it should be malty, it should be balanced, and it should be able to be drank in massive quantities for two weeks straight while listening to bad Oom-pah music and eating nothing but pretzels and the occasional 3am döner kebab. In the case of Fest & Last, we have nothing but confidence we checked everyone one of those boxes and then some. Made with the absolute top tier of German malts, our house German Lager yeast, and moderate dusting of German noble hops; resulting in a crisp, clean, malty, balanced, and crushable Lager with notes of fresh baked bread, toasted almonds, hartkek biscuits, slightly sweet cereal grains, hints of grass, and a soft floral finish.
