The 2022 release introduces a new Burgundy bottle and a label designed by Belgian artist Kasper Bosmans, inspired by his mural Under the Mountain, a site-specific mural created especially for Quinta do Quetzal. Quinta do Quetzal Arte Red 2022 is crafted from Alicante Bouschet, Alfrocheiro, and Syrah, exclusively estate-grown grapes. Arte Red 2022 shows a deep garnet colour with aromas of wild berries, spices, and dried fruits. On the palate, it is dense and compact, with layers of dark cocoa, black fruits, and a balsamic touch. The tannins are creamy and smooth, giving the wine elegance, balance, and great aging potential. Ideal with intense meat dishes such as roasted red or white meats, as well as game.
