For maximum leak protection, we designed the adaptor with oil sealing at two critical points using a rotary seal and O-ring combination, with factory hardware retained on the transfer case side to keep the installation clean and simple. Coupler Shaft Machined from heat-treated 8620 high-strength steel, the coupler shaft is precision-made to connect the 2WD transmission output shaft and your factory transfer case input shaft. Yes, the kit is compatible with GQ and GU transfer cases. However, if you are using a GQ transfer case, a custom low-range lever will be required to complete the installation. Is this kit suitable for the ZF 6HP26 4WD transmission? No. It is designed for the Ford ZF 6HP26 2WD transmission only. It is not compatible with the 4WD version of the ZF 6HP26. Can I use a ZF transmission from any vehicle? No. Our kit is only compatible with the OE Ford ZF 6HP26 2WD transmission commonly used in the Ford Falcon and 2WD Territory.
