Assign each colour to a person or a topic – yellow for you, blue for the kids, pink for birthdays, for example. Then write on the dots and stick them on the right day. Over time a colour system emerges that you can read from across the room. Does anything fit on a dot? Yes, with a fine pen. dot on recommends a thin fineliner – then two to three short lines fit on one dot. Are there enough dots for a whole year? Usually, yes – the set includes over 600 dots, and according to dot on most people have some left at the end of the year. If you need more, individual sheets are available separately. How is the planner hung up? With the two black metal clips included. The 6 sheets are printed on both sides; at the turn of the month you flip the sheet or take the next one. Who is the maxi for? For families, flatshares and couples who want to keep their appointments in one place – and for projects, teams or personal goals. The sticky dots are not suitable for children under 3. One buyer at dot on describes herself as a visual type and plans her household with the maxi – using her own colour legend. Is the planner also available with a spiral binding? The maker also offers the maxi 2027 with a spiral binding. We stock the version with loose sheets and metal clips. What do other buyers say? The dot on shop has more than 100 customer reviews, almost all of them five stars. What stands out is how many people say they have bought their dot on calendar again every year for years – some for almost ten years – and give it as a gift too. Families give each member their own colour; one family says the kids check it every evening while brushing their teeth to see what's coming up. There was occasional criticism of the hanging: one buyer would have liked a sturdier back. Which dot on planner is right for me? From the rainbow edition we also stock the “classic rainbow” year planner in landscape format, 100 × 69 cm – the whole year on one sheet, for wide walls, the “high rainbow” year planner in portrait format, 69 × 100 cm – the whole year on one sheet, for narrower walls and hallways as well as the perpetual “timeless rainbow” calendar (30 × 42 cm) without a year – for birthdays and anniversaries that come round every year. All come with the same rainbow sticky dots – so your colour system stays the same, whichever format you choose. Can the planners be combined? Yes, and many people do: the year planner (classic or high) shows holidays and big events at a glance, the maxi monthly planner covers day-to-day detail, and the timeless collects birthdays and anniversaries that stay the same every year – so you don't have to copy them over each year. With the same dot colours, they all read as one system. maxi rainbow 2027 by dot on – the family planner that brings colour to your year.
