A festive PetiteKnit favourite, the Christmas Hat is a classic pointed knitted hat with a cosy folded brim and cheerful pompom – perfect for adding a handmade touch to Christmas. The Christmas Hat is worked in the round from the bottom up on circular needles and double pointed needles (or using the magic loop technique with a longer cable circular needle) towards the point. A casing for the elastic is made along the lower edge, or a rib edge is worked. Lastly, a small tassel or pompom is made and then sewn on the point of the hat. Sizes: Small (large).
