Cort Sunset Nylectric II Electro-Classical Guitar [SNSET NYLEC II]

Cort Sunset Nylectric II Bridging the gap between nylon-string acoustic and electric, the Sunset Nylectric has held a unique position to offer the warm sound of the nylon string with the level of control that electric guitars offer. The Sunset Nylectric II features new updates that make it even more appealing to nylon-string players with thinner body, wider nut width and string spacing, slightly reduced scale length, Graph Tech® TUSQ nut, and tapered headstock design. The Nylectric II now offers the serious nylon-string player all the features to confidently amplify their playing. Electro-Classical Guitar For electric guitar players who are looking for a great classical nylon-string sound on stage, the Sunset Nylectric II provides flexibility and rock-solid performance without the hassles of amplifying a traditional nylon-string classical guitar. Fishman® VTB Preamp Developed specifically for the unique vibrational characteristics of nylon strinpgs, the Fishman® Sonicore VTB EQ system conveys the natural sound of nylon with transparency and exceptional string-to-string balance. The Fishman® Sonicore’s powerful yet organic-sounding pre-amplification is perfectly suited for both recording and any type of live performance application. Tapered and Slotted Headstock The new tapered design offers a unique and modern feel to the traditional slotted headstock of a nylon string guitar. Neck-Body Joint Beveled Heel Unlike the square-cut heel of traditional bolt-on guitars, the heel on the Sunset Nylectric II is beveled round and thin for easier and smoother access to the frets in the high register of the fingerboard. 1 7/8” (48mm) Nut Width Compared to the standard classical guitar’s 2.0” (52mm) nut width, the Sunset Nylectric II has slightly narrower 48mm nut width which makes it ideal for both traditional classical playing as well as standard acoustic steel-string or electric guitar playing, combining the best of all worlds in a single versatile guitar for a variety of playing styles. Graph Tech® TUSQ Nut and Saddle Preferred by many guitar makers and players for rich tone and sustain, the Graph Tech® TUSQ is an advanced polymer that's designed to transfer string energy more efficiently, and to make guitars come alive with enhanced harmonics, volume and sustain. Savarez® Cristal Corum Strings This set of Savarez® Cristal Corum 500CJ high-tension nylon guitar strings includes Corum polished-silver-wound basses with Cristal trebles. If you prefer a higher tension playing feel, then this 500CJ set is perfect for you.
