Riihimäki ‘Harmonikka’ Model 1347 Vase

A lovely vintage Finnish glass vase designed by Tamara Aladin for Riihimäen Lasi during the 1960s–70s. Known as the Harmonikka (Accordion) vase, it features a striking geometric shape with a heavy, square base and a series of raised horizontal ridges running around the upper section. Made from thick, clear glass, the angular design catches and refracts the light beautifully, giving the vase an almost architectural quality. Flawless condition. A wonderful example of Finnish mid-century glass design, equally attractive displayed on its own or with flowers. 100mm by 100mm by 200mm tall
