JD97 "A new cuvée that's a selection from the Altagracia, the 2023 Cabernet Sauvignon Piedras comes from clay and volcanic soils at slightly higher elevations on the more eastern portion of the property. This terroir selection offers cassis, graphite, violets, and loamy earth nuances in a riper, more powerful expression of Cabernet Sauvignon. Aged 21 months in 100% new French oak barrels, it's medium to full-bodied and has wonderfully integrated background oak, ripe building tannins, and a great finish.
