About the Stones Rose quartz is a naturally occurring quartz known for its soft pink coloring. It has long been associated in gemstone traditions with love, compassion, and emotional warmth, which is why it's sometimes called a stone of love. Because rose quartz is a natural gemstone, subtle variations in color, translucency, pattern, and surface are expected. These differences are part of the stone's natural character and make each necklace a little different. Cherry quartz, despite its name, is generally a man-made glass material rather than a naturally occurring variety of quartz. Its beautiful rosy coloring and translucency pair especially well with natural rose quartz, while the faceted surface gives Celia its brighter sparkle. Jewelry Care Celia is not waterproof. Remove your necklace before showering, swimming, exercising, or sleeping. Avoid direct contact with perfumes, lotions, hairspray, household cleaners, and other chemicals, which can affect the rose gold-plated finish over time. After wearing, gently wipe the beads and metal components with a clean, soft, dry cloth. Store your necklace in a soft pouch or separate jewelry compartment in a cool, dry place. Keeping it separate from harder jewelry will help protect the gemstones and preserve the plated finish.
