KIDS BEANIE Albert has found a mushroom and claimed it as his own. He sits on top of it surrounded by tiny flowers, stitched by hand onto the cuff of a soft violet beanie. It is the sweetest thing we make and now it comes in a small size. This is the little version of our Albert the Frog and Mushroom beanie. Same artwork, same stitches, on a soft stretchy rib knit built for smaller heads. The wide cuff folds up so the mushroom sits front and centre, and the knit gives as they grow. A few things people ask What age is it for? Kids one size, recommended for ages 3 to 8. The rib knit has elastane in it so it stretches, which gives you a bit of room either side of that. Is it itchy? It is a soft single layer rib knit rather than a thick double layer, so it sits light on the head and is easy to wear indoors as well as out. Is the embroidery printed? No. Every stitch is real embroidery, sewn at home in the UK, so the design keeps its texture and will not crack or peel the way a print does.
