Pinguicula Moranensis Petite Feuille

Pinguicula Moranensis Petite Feuille, aka Pinguicula moranensis ‘Petite Feuille’, meaning “Small Leaf” in French, is a highly collectible miniature form of the popular classic Mexican Butterwort. It retains the easygoing nature and carnivorous charm of Pinguicula moranensis, but stays noticeably more compact, forming a tight rosette of smaller leaves that makes it especially appealing for terrariums, windowsills, and miniature plant displays. Under strong filtered light, the foliage can develop beautiful pink to rosy tones, giving the plant a jewel like appearance. Like other butterworts, the leaves are coated with tiny sticky glands that trap small insects such as fungus gnats and fruit flies, making ‘Petite Feuille’ both ornamental and functional.
