Vintage Glit Pottery Icelandic Vase with Brutalist Lava Glaze

Vintage Glit Pottery Icelandic Vase with Brutalist Lava Glaze. A striking slender vase with glossy crimson glaze, horizontal ribbing, and a dramatically flared charcoal rim. Raised, craggy decoration wraps around the lower body in dark brown and pale turquoise, creating a rich contrast of smooth glaze and rugged texture. A bold accent for a bookshelf or console, beautiful displayed alone or with a single dried stem. Retains paper labels underneath. Surface wear and glaze irregularities are visible; please review photographs for detail. I can read “Handmade Ceramics” beside a stylized ram’s-head logo. The remaining lettering is worn and partly covered, so I can’t confidently identify the maker yet. Shipping: Free local pickup at The Curatorial Dept.
