Angela Davis letterpress notebook

"You have to act as if it were possible to radically transform the world. And you have to do it all the time." Angela Davis (b. 1944) is an American political activist, scholar, and philosopher whose continued pursuit of justice has made her an enduring voice for freedom and equality. A leader in the Black liberation movement and a fierce advocate for women’s, queer, and transgender rights, Davis has consistently challenged systems of oppression. A Marxist, feminist, and prominent prison abolitionist, she has worked to expose the injustices of mass incarceration and to call for the end of the death penalty. Through her teaching, activism, and more than ten books on race, gender, class, and the American prison system, Angela Davis continues to inspire movements for collective liberation and transformative social change. • medium size notebook • cover is letterpress printed in blue ink with original illustration on grout gray 100# paper • 64 blank 100% recycled pages • sewn stitched binding on the left in turquoise thread • measures 4.125”x6.375 with two rounded corners • individually packaged in a clear cello sleeve
