For this collection, the apothecary-style bottle designed by Marc Newson is reimagined through the Chinese snuff bottle, a historic art object of enduring refinement. Functional yet precious, this small flacon speaks to the Maison's tradition of pairing beauty with utility in iconic travel objects since 1854. Formed from opalescent glass with shifting reflections and crowned by a lacquered cap in deep tones, each bottle's color combination captures the distinct identity of its perfume. Moon Tale's bottle wears hues drawn from tian-tsui, an ancient Chinese jewelry craft in which brooches and parures were adorned with blue kingfisher feathers and coral.
