Millie Vanillie is a blend of a 10 year old blend Kelvin Cooperage barrel of MPG 36% Rye Bourbon and an 11 year MGP 36% Rye Bourbon. This is a rich, sweet, bourbon with a traditional profile and excellent viscosity. The Vanilla note steals the show on this one! Nose - The nose begins with rich caramels and vanillas, the profile is very round. As the sweetness develops, notes of sweet tea, coffee and cinnamon join the caramel. Whipped creams and charred marshmallows join the vanilla. The sugar integrates with the tannins closing out with sweet oak, leather, and tobacco. Palate - The palate is inline with the nose, rich, round notes of caramel and vanilla to start. Caramel drizzle on vanilla ice cream with whipped cream. Marshmallow fluff and white chocolate hop on the sugar train. Butterscotch, maple, and cinnamon begin to accompany the caramel. Sweet mature oak begins as well. Finish - The finish is medium length and sweet til the end. As the oak settles in, the experience becomes slightly drier and the richness fades. Barrel aged vanillas become more aromatic and joined by age notes of oak, sweet tobacco, leather, and coffee. A subtle cinnamon sugar closes out the sip with sweet vanilla and maple all the way to the end. Bottled at cask strength of 110.2 proof. Distillery pick up only. NO SHIPPING. 1 Bottle per person.
