The Matilda Bigfoot

A beast of a feast. Something enormous has been spotted in Lancashire. One metre-long slab of Belgian dark chocolate brownie, layered with caramelised white chocolate fudge and topped with Belgian chocolate decoration. A full kilo of it. The Matilda Bigfoot is made with free-range egg and proper British butter, baked dense and fudgy the way a brownie should be, then layered up until it's less a traybake and more a small monument. Cut it into ten generous pieces for a birthday table, a party spread or a family gathering where everyone claims they only want a little bit. They never do. Handmade in small batches by our family-run bakery in Lancashire, this is Matilda at her most unapologetic. Big footprint, bigger flavour, and absolutely no chance of anyone leaving the table hungry. Note: The Matilda Bigfoot is a 1kg brownie slab serving up to 10. To make sure your bake arrives just as it left our hands, each one is carefully hand-wrapped for its journey from our Lancashire bakery to your table.
