CHAIRMAN Print

Created to accompany Chairman, Yinka Ilori’s first comprehensive publication, this official exhibition print celebrates the artist’s iconic chair works and the ideas, stories and cultural influences behind them. The print features ‘Two Become One’, one of Yinka’s distinctive green chairs from the Chairman project. Drawing on over a decade of Yinka’s practice, Chairman explores how overlooked and discarded furniture can be transformed into powerful vessels of memory, migration and joy. Bringing together the exhibition’s bold graphic language and Yinka’s enduring fascination with the chair as an object of memory, identity and storytelling, the print offers a way to take a piece of the Chairman exhibition into the home. Printed in A2 format on premium 300gsm Monte Carlo paper, the print measures 42 × 59.4cm.
