A 0.5ct marquise Aurora Moissanite on each ear — 8×4mm — claw-set on the face of a 12mm hoop, in rhodium-plated sterling silver. The stone sits proud on the outer face, point-up, so it faces forward rather than edge-on. At 8mm long and 4mm wide it runs most of the height of the hoop while staying narrow, which is what gives the piece its length. 12mm across, 2mm thick. Close enough to the lobe to disappear under a beanie, a helmet or over-ear headphones. The hinge clicks shut positively and stays that way, so there's no back to lose and nothing pressing into your neck at night. Claws cap both points, which is where a marquise is delicate and the only place metal needs to be. Solid 925 sterling silver, hallmarked, rhodium finished.
