**90ml Early-mid 70s Factory 1 Hongni Teapot (#19)

Early-mid 70s Factory 1 Hongni Yixing teapot. Chemical additives were not used up until 1976 and the purity/refinement of the clay is also very good (better than in later ages). This clay has excellent drinking performance. We find that most factory Yixing after the late 70s (specifically after 1976) have very poor clay and craftmanship in comparison. We have selected these teapots because the quality of early 70s Yixing (particularly for hongni) is high and the quality/price ratio is very high (older teapots can of course be better but the prices rapidly skyrocket). In terms of puerh, this is particularly suitable for “first aging” (from a few years of age to about 15 years) up to “semi-aged” (15-20 years dry storage) Will also happily brew oolong and other teas (particularly suitable for light to medium oxidised oolongs)
