Geometric Star - Original Quilted Textile Art

An original, handmade, textile artwork constructed from cotton fabrics, featuring Indian handlooms, vintage prints, and even sun-bleached plaids rescued from thrift store purgatory. In tones of warm rust, ochre, and cream, with pops of pink and sunflower, the composition offsets traditional quilt piecing structures with a more contemporary, graphic feel. Each section was machine pieced and quilted. Finished with a contrasting fabric binding and a sleeve on the back for hanging. Dimensions: 30" x 30" Materials: Cotton fabric, cotton-coated polyester thread, batting of unknown composition Care: Wash only if needed, by hand, in cool water with gentle detergent. Gently wring and lay flat to dry. Can be ironed on medium heat if desired.
