CryoVault 800-445P is the volume leader of Unicorn’s 445 mm-neck family at 800 L effective capacity, adding 250 mm of overall height over the entry 550-445P (1,650 mm vs 1,400 mm) for 40% more cryovial capacity — 39,200 against 28,000 — on the same 1,090 mm diameter and 1,140 mm door width. It keeps the family’s balanced rack mix, with 16 of its 24 racks configurable for 5×5 boxes, making it the model to choose when both cryovials and larger-format samples need real capacity rather than one squeezed in around the other. Samples sit above the liquid line in −190°C nitrogen vapor, and the tray-bottom charge gives a 118-day static liquid reserve against an 18-day vapor-hold figure.
