Silver Filigree Ring - BC Nephrite Jade

Over the last few years, I've developed an interest in featuring gemstones that can be sourced locally within Canada. Canadian diamonds and labradorite of course being the most well known Canadian gemstones, but we also have a reputation for beautiful nephrite jade (sometimes known as "Polar Jade") This ring was has an antique inspiration from classic 90's style filigree rings with a touch of Celtic. For this particular stone it makes a nice "coast to coast" ring. Nephrite from the west coasts and Celtic knot inspiration from the eastern coasts. From wearing, one thing I quite like about this ring is that it fits very nicely in gloves without catching, so if you want to wear your bling comfortably but keep your fingers warm - it's a very wearable piece. Made in Sterling silver and Nephrite Jade from the Fraser River in British Colombia, Canada.
