Frozen Icelandic Poppies in the mist ✿ Fine Art Print

This limited-edition fine art photography print showcases Icelandic Poppies. This piece has a mysterious touch, with gentle white and creamy tones accented by hints of orange. I love creating art by freezing flowers. I use my own technique: I freeze the flowers, photograph the block of ice with flowers against the light. Once I take the photo, I dive into Photoshop for editing, layering colours and digital painting over some details until everything feels just right. The process is undoubtedly slow and involves many steps. Freezing the flowers shows them in a painterly way, reminiscent of watercolour paintings, characterised by softness, blur and transparency. Each time I freeze the flowers, the outcome is a delightful surprise. I also enjoy experimenting with different papers and materials to make each final piece truly special. Printed on high-quality Hahnemühle Baryta paper (325 g) in Amsterdam by a certified Hahnemühle art studio, we guarantee the highest quality. Each print is signed and comes with a certificate of authenticity. It's extra soft and dreamy with white passe-partout, or it can make a bold statement with a vibrant red or orange frame.
