The prerequisite is that the original seat is also equipped with seat heating and that the motorcycle has the corresponding power supply. Before fitting the seat as usual, all that is required is to establish the electrical connection to the motorcycle’s onboard electrical system. This is done with the matching pre-assembled cable, Plug & Play! The desired heating level can be adjusted individually as usual via the corresponding vehicle menu. The AKTIVKOMFORT seat heating element consists of a robust fleece into which a fine yet exceptionally high-tensile, resistant stainless-steel filament heating wire is integrated and laid in numerous loops. This elaborate construction, designed for durability and resilience, provides even, optimal heat distribution that feels particularly pleasant and noticeably increases seating comfort. It also provides the necessary elasticity so that the seat heating element can continuously and flexibly compensate for the considerable stresses caused by the movement, stretching and compression of the seat cushion when mounting and riding.
