Tradescantia ‘Wandering Purple' - 6.5 " Hanging Basket

Tradescantia ‘Wandering Purple’ is a colorful trailing plant with elongated leaves in shades of purple, green, and silvery tones. The undersides of the leaves often show deeper purple coloring, adding contrast as the stems cascade over the edge of a pot. Its fast-growing, spreading habit makes it a great choice for hanging planters, shelves, or adding a splash of color to a plant collection. Plant Care Light: Bright, indirect light is ideal. Some gentle direct sun can help maintain rich purple coloring, but avoid harsh afternoon sun. Water: Allow the top portion of the soil to dry between waterings. Avoid keeping the soil consistently soggy. Additionally: Pinch back the stems to encourage fuller growth and prevent the plant from becoming leggy. Tradescantias grow quickly in good conditions and are easy to propagate from stem cuttings. Pet Safety: Considered mildly toxic to pets if ingested. Price is per plant; each plant is unique and may vary in size, color, leaf shape, or growth habit from the photo.
