Handmade Oaxacan Smokey Clay Bowl - Glazed (individual bowl)

Smokey Pieces are made the same way as barro negro but aren't polished. Each piece will have varying colors and a unique look like Raku. Born from family hands in the Oaxacan town of Atzompa. Our artisan Alex and his small family produce beautiful works from their home. We met them on our last trip to Oaxaca and instantly felt a connection to their kindness and beauty of their work. Atzompa is known for their crackle glaze giving it a rustic and antique finish.
