carnation reversible bed runner

Woven in sumptuous hand-loomed Ikat, this reversible throw brings the carnation into a larger, more architectural form. One face blooms in vivid fuchsia and warm earth tones, while the reverse shifts into contrasting cool blue and green - two entirely different moods held within the same piece. Long associated with love, devotion and beauty, the carnation was one of the great motifs of Ottoman decorative arts. Here, it moves from ornament into landscape. Two throws in one, made to change with the room. Dimensions 260 × 80 cm Composition 100% silk One side silk velvet Ikat, one side hand-loomed silk Ikat.
