Thread Calculator

This is a handy tool for estimating the amount of thread needed to stitch an area of needlepoint canvas. Note: You will need different yardages when you stitch on different counts of canvas, but this will give you a decent idea and helps identify the number of square inches of each color. This is a piece of transparency paper we have laminated to increase durability.
