Voï, 'Nefos' 2022

Jason Ligas comes from a family of winemakers, but not only did he learn from them, he spent time with Jacques Selosse in Champagne. He learnt care, and attention to detail which we now see in these wines from his solo project. A beauty of a rosé, using the same blend used in the classic appellation of Rapsani, here explored in a new light. The grapes come old vines of approximately 80 years old. The name Nefos means cloud, which comes from the idea that this wine really comes alive in a decanter, leaving a cloud as it blooms and unfolds in complexity. Truly a gastronomic rosé, packed with herbal character and strawberry compote notes and a balsamic edge.
