FABRIC STORY: A reissue of the ninth fabric woven at the Manufacture in 1897, when the company was still known as Sans & Garcerie. This linen and cotton blend revisits the original design with a richer, more masculine palette, combining historic craftsmanship with a modern feel. FUNCTION: This 43cm width is the traditional "Transat" canvas, specifically sized to fit ici et Là deckchairs, director's chairs, and folding stools. Beyond seating, its narrow, sturdy construction makes it an ideal choice for crafting high-end luggage, table runners, and durable home accessories. TECHNICAL SPECS: Price: Per linear metre Width: 43cm Weight: 300g/m² Composition: 100% Cotton Finish: "As-loom-fallen" (natural state, untreated) Edges: Traditional selvedge edges; these are woven, finished edges that will not fray, requiring no side hemming. Colour Accuracy: Please note that colours may vary slightly depending on your screen settings and lighting. We highly recommend ordering a sample if a precise colour match is required for your project. CARE: Perfect for indoor and sheltered outdoor use. As a natural fiber, cotton is sensitive to UV rays; store away from direct sun or moonlight to prevent fading. Before the first wash, soak in cold water for 24 hours to minimise shrinkage. Machine wash at 30°C or 40°C with a mild detergent. Avoid bleach and do not tumble dry to maintain colour depth and fabric integrity.
