Poetry-inspired Song Cycle Performance

Ken Topham, a world-renowned drummer and percussionist, composer, and educator of music, has not only composed a cycle of choral arrangements inspired by the poetry of RSH’s own Ben Pease, but he has assembled internationally-acclaimed vocalists from across the country to perform these pieces, live, one night only, at the Ruth Stone House! Sara Azriel, Kalyn Harewood, and Ben Stein will be performing Ken’s compositions as well as their own original work. Ben Pease will read the poems Ken used in his arrangements as well as selections from his chapbook Veedon Fleece.
