Taylor, R.D. - Model 24-4, 7' 2/2 4wt Bamboo Rod

For sale here is an R.D. Taylor model 24-4, 7' 2/2 4wt bamboo rod in excellent used condition. Flamed cane with 3x3 nodes, dark snake guide and carbide stripping guide. Wraps are transparent tan with red tipping and black accents. All sections are straight, full length & serialized (#145). 12/64 ferrules are blued and fit perfectly. 5.5" grip has just a hint of soiling, and the rod is fitted with a cap & ring reel seat over fine wood spacer. Light wear to the reel seat bluing, and the butt cap retains the "R.D. Taylor - Makers" stamping. Weight is 2.95oz. Progressive action on the medium side of medium fast. A DT4 suits the 24-4 quite well, and this is a very fine example of Bob Taylor's signature "Flametone" finish.
